All Comers/All Ages

Cost: Free

Location: A one mile loop around the grounds of the Prince Georges County Sports and Learning Complex (SLPEX).

The endeavor of running (or walking) one mile is the base training staple for youth entering track and field. It can also be a gateway to immersing the entire family into the diaspora of better fitness and healthy living.

Each week runners should report to Stadium concessions and Rest Facility (adjacent to track entrance)

Runners will have option to run in a “three mile group” start, “two mile” or “one mile” group starts.

Weekly event is usually conducted rain or shine. In case(s) of extreme weather or forecast of changing weather conditions, please call the Sports Office weather line: 301-927-0822 for an updated status of event.

The Sports Health and Wellness Division invites everyone in Prince George’s County to take advantage of this opportunity to introduce themselves, as well as their families to the world of track and field.
